PENFOLDS is holding a new series of its regular recorking clinics in capital cities in August and November.

The clinics give the owners of Penfolds wines that are 15 years or older the opportunity to have their bottles assessed by the company's winemaking team.

If necessary, wines are opened, tasted, topped up, recorked and recapsuled on the spot.

Langton's Fine Wine Auctions director Andrew Caillard will be at the clinics to advise owners on the market values of their treasures.

People aiming to have their wines checked out need to register on www.penfolds.com.au/clinics two weeks before the clinic they wish to attend.

The clinic will be at the Shangri La Hotel in Sydney from August 12 to 14.

The clinics have been going for 17 years and have dealt with more than 90,000 bottles of Penfolds wine.
